Students will read measuring cylinders and explore capacity/volume. They will convert between millilitres and litres using division and multiplication. Students will explore the capacity/volume of containers in your classroom using measuring cylinders.

This is a summative assessment that covers the key objectives from this place value unit.

Students will consolidate their place value knowledge and use problem-solving and critical thinking skills to solve a series of place value puzzles. They will apply their knowledge of expanding, rounding, regrouping, comparing and writing whole numbers and decimals.
