Students will revise the difference between am and pm and use their knowledge to convert between 12 and 24 hour time. They will play a Time Memory game to practice reading 24 hour time.

Students will use their new time knowledge and skills to calculate the duration of events. They will refresh their word problem skills to solve elapsed time word problems and use their answers to solve a mystery.

Students will reading a bus timetable and solve the animals’ problems by calculating elapsed time.
