Lesson 4: Comparing numbers

Students will build on their place value knowledge by comparing large numbers. They will use the < > symbols to write number statements about numbers. Students will play a game called Risk It For The Biscuit.
Lesson 4: Converting between mm, cm, m and km

Students will convert between millimetres, centimetres, metres and kilometres. They will find the size of interesting animals with different units of measurement.

Students will measure and convert between units of measurement of length using multiplication and division. They will practice this by estimating and measuring items in the classroom.

Lesson 21: Dividing fractions by whole numbers

Students will apply their knowledge of multiplying fractions to divide fractions by integers. Students will use their knowledge to complete a fraction puzzle.
