Lesson 9: Statistics, Probability and Data Assessment
This is a summative assessment that covers the key objectives from the Statistics, Probability and Data unit.
Lesson 8: Predicting game outcomes using probability
Students will play spinner games and use probability to make predictions during the game.
Lesson 7: Introduction to chance and probability
This lesson introduces students to probability vocabulary, such as impossible, unlikely, even chance, likely and certain. They will use scenarios cards and place them in order of possibility.
Lesson 6: Gathering and presenting data
Students will conduct a survey and create a bar graph based on the survey.
Lesson 5: Creating bar graphs
Students will explore bar graphs in more detail and create their own bar graph from frequency tables.
Lesson 4: Interpreting bar graphs
Students will explore bar graphs and answer questions connected to the graphs.
Lesson 2: Creating pictograms from tally charts
Students will explore pictograms in more detail and create their own pictogram from tally charts.
