Lesson 3: Adding money

Students will apply their knowledge of decimals, money and addition to add money amounts when adopting a pet and shopping for pet related items.

Lesson 2: Calculating and comparing money

Students will calculate groups of coins or notes with the same value and compare money amounts. They will also regroup cents for dollar amounts. Students will calculate groups of money by playing a game called Money Mania.

Lesson 4: Reading 24 hour time

Students will revise the difference between am and pm and use their knowledge to read 12 and 24 hour time. Students will play a Bingo game involving 12 and 24 hour time.
